Our Services
Wildwood Counseling is thrilled to be able to offer a variety of services, to meet the needs of the community. We pride ourselves on affirming neurodivergence, being committed to social justice, and being a haven for LGBTQ+ clients.
Individual Counseling (55 mins) – some insurances accepted, or $185/session. Therapy is for everyone, not just when things feel too big or out of control! You’ll experience a listening ear, who can share feedback or simply support you. Everyone is worthy of having someone to express their innermost thoughts to, of gaining clarity on their future, and of building confidence. Sessions are structured to meet your needs, and can range from focused on here-and-now skill building, to deep internal work on your history. Our individual services are guided mainly by principles of Narrative Therapy & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with a splash of CBT & DBT.
Couples Counseling (55 mins) – Insurances not accepted, $200/session. Seeking counseling with your partner provides a safe and judgement-free space to explore what challenges you are facing, reconnect, overcome gridlock, and gain a deeper understanding of your partner. Just like how you would see a orthopedist for a knee issue, you want to see a counselor for those issues you’ve tried to talk through so many times but just are not getting anywhere. We have worked extensively with couples going through a transitional phase (divorce, infidelity, parenting) and affirm couples of all kinds. It is recommended that couples have previously engaged in individual work to clarify coping skills before attending couples, and couples can be done in conjunction with individual therapy.
Premartial Counseling (55 mins) – Insurances not accepted, offered in a package of 8 sessions ($1400 entire balance paid up front [15% savings!] or $1520 for a 2 part payment plan [5% savings]. We will follow Gottman Method blended with skill building, and a sprinkle of systems theory! This is a more directive plan than couples therapy, where we are time limited, goal oriented, and solution focused. You will leave with skills around conflict resolution, increasing/maintaining emotional intimacy, interacting with in-laws, and so much more! Paper copies of some interventions and assessments will be provided. This service does not follow any faith-based methodology, all couples starting a union are welcome, no matter what their marriage service may look like!
Parenting Session (115 mins) – Insurances not accepted, $350/session. This service is ideal for a busy parent, who is feeling out of their depth with their child. They may be experiencing outbursts, neurodivergence, their child experimenting with substances, wanting to reduce yelling themselves, et cetera. This service is best for acute recent symptoms, where the parent would like tangible suggestions, skills, and information, but not to become an ongoing client.
Clinical Supervision – $100/hour. We offer clinical supervision to LGPC’s in Maryland. Groups of 2 are also welcome to meet, for a reduced individual rate of $75 per person/hour.
Note: Outpatient therapy is not sufficient for a client actively and/or regularly experiencing suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation or psychosis. If you are experiencing any of these things, please utilize support services like 988, or 741-741 as needed. If you are experiencing current ideation, with a plan and/or intent, please proceed to your nearest hospital. More crisis hotlines can be found here: https://www.apa.org/topics/crisis-hotlines

Our Story
Wildwood Therapy was born from a vision of creating a more accessible and personalized approach to therapy in the DMV area, free from the constraints often found in large group practices. We are a carefully curated counseling group that values relationships and is grounded in systemic theories. Our focus is on helping clients navigate their environments, whether it’s addressing ineffective communication, managing stressors, adapting to significant life changes, exploring neurodivergence, or working through ongoing relationship challenges.
We believe in a holistic approach that incorporates a variety of interventions to help clients discover their true selves. Our approach is interactive, non-pathologizing, and centered around the client’s needs. With a primary focus on teens, couples, and families, we bring additional expertise in the Gottman model, specializing in supporting couples through major life transitions such as marriage, new parenthood, or navigating infidelity. Our practice also specializes in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence (Autism and ADHD).
At Wildwood Therapy, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive space for all individuals on their path to healing and self-discovery.

Meet the founder

Thank you for considering me as a partner on your mental health journey. I’m passionate about taking a holistic approach to therapy, believing that a variety of interventions can help illuminate who you aspire to be and the skills you’ve used to help you get to today. My practice is interactive, client-centered, and focused on fostering a non-pathologizing environment.
I have a primary focus on teens, couples, and adult women. I’ve gained specialized training in the Gottman Model, which equips me to support couples navigating significant life transitions — be it marriage, welcoming a new baby, or overcoming challenges like infidelity or separation. I also work extensively with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and neurodivergent experiences, such as ADHD and Level 1 Autism (low support needs).
I am a Board Approved Supervisor for LGPCs in Maryland, and I hold licenses as an LCMHC-QS and LMFT in North Carolina, allowing me to mentor emerging professionals in our field through their approximate first two years in the workforce.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, I’ve had the opportunity to move around and currently reside on the vibrant border between DC and Maryland. Since beginning my direct work with clients in 2016, I’ve gathered diverse experiences across in-home therapy, private practice, outpatient, and virtual settings.
As a therapist on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, I celebrate the journey of living our best lives with the unique challenges we face. When I’m not in session, you can find me enjoying competitive kickball, spending quality time with my dog, indulging in cross-stitch, diving into fantasy novels, or experimenting with new gluten-free recipes.
I look forward to supporting you on your path to wellness!
